About Us

Soup4Soul started back in September of 2024 when our founder Kelsey noticed an area of great need while driving in Raleigh and felt called to feed the people she saw there. She began bringing crockpots of soup and chili to a street corner on S Saunders St. in Raleigh, NC on the weekends to feed the homeless there. From a few crockpots and a broken folding table on a street corner, the mission to see others, meet them where they are, and serve those in our community with love, dignity, and compassion has taken hold and grown and from it, our non-profit organization Soup4Soul was born. In just two short years we have built a team of volunteers, expanded from that beloved street corner to go on to host events partnering with many different health and human services organizations to offer dental care, health screenings, access to recovery services, clothes, food, hygiene items, even free haircuts from volunteer barbers. To date, we have proudly been able to distribute over 4,300 meals and over 1,500 personal care packages to our community members in Raleigh, NC. We are continuing to grow each and everyday to increase our positive impact to reach as many individuals and families in need as possible on a consistent basis as well as advocate for lasting change for the homeless population of Raleigh.
